EL Contract Services

Project overview

EL Contract Services needed a professional website that could present the business as a capable commercial cleaning contractor and give prospective clients a clear understanding of its services, standards and operational experience.

Killed Pixel Studio planned, wrote and developed a WordPress website with dedicated journeys for commercial, industrial, construction and specialist cleaning.

A separate tender and commercial contracts route was also created to support procurement opportunities, supplier applications and larger contract enquiries.

The client

EL Contract Services provides professional cleaning support across commercial premises, industrial facilities, construction projects and specialist environments.

The business works with office managers, facilities managers, procurement teams, contractors and organisations that require reliable cleaning shaped around their site, schedule and operational requirements.

Its approach centres around tailored solutions, hands on management, clear communication and long term client relationships.

Commercial offices form an important part of the company’s work, alongside warehouses, manufacturing environments, construction sites, mental health facilities, wet rooms and other specialist locations.

The business primarily supports clients across Staffordshire, Derbyshire and the wider Midlands, with the ability to consider work further afield where appropriate.

The brief

EL Contract Services wanted a modern commercial website that would strengthen how the business was presented to prospective clients and make its full operational capability easier to understand.

The website needed to support regular cleaning enquiries, ongoing commercial contracts, construction projects and tender opportunities.

It also needed to communicate important trust information, including accreditation, insurance, health and safety procedures, flexible working arrangements and experience across several sectors.

A central objective was to ensure the business was presented as an established commercial contractor rather than a general domestic cleaning provider.

The finished website needed to feel credible and appropriate for facilities managers, procurement teams, contractors and larger organisations.

The challenge

EL Contract Services provides several distinct cleaning services, each with different audiences, site requirements and purchasing processes.

A single general services page would not provide enough detail for prospective clients or give the EL team the information required to understand each opportunity properly.

Commercial offices, industrial environments, construction projects and specialist facilities each needed a relevant content journey and enquiry route.

The website also needed to support more than general enquiries. It had to communicate professional standards, operational capability and readiness for tender and supplier opportunities while remaining clear and straightforward to navigate.

The direction

The website direction focused on commercial credibility, reliability and tailored support.

The existing black, white and EL pink identity was retained and applied more consistently across the new website.

EL pink was used carefully for buttons, icons and smaller accents, supported by white space, light grey backgrounds and dark charcoal sections.

Strong Poppins typography, generous spacing and structured page layouts helped the website feel confident and professional without becoming overly corporate.

The site architecture was built around clear service journeys.

Each main cleaning category received its own detailed page, supporting trust content and dedicated quote form.

A separate Tender and Commercial Contracts section was created to provide a focused route for procurement opportunities, supplier applications and contract related enquiries.

A concise brand consistency guide was also created to document the existing logo, confirmed colours, typography and tone of voice for future use.

The process

The project began by understanding the company’s services, audiences, operating requirements, accreditations, insurance, health and safety procedures and wider commercial goals.

The homepage was planned first to establish the visual direction, positioning and overall tone of the website.

Once Max had reviewed and approved that direction, the structure was expanded into dedicated service pages, quote pages and the tender enquiry journey.

Each page was refined to focus on reliability, communication, professional standards and tailored delivery.

The content was written to build confidence and help prospective clients understand the company’s capability without relying on unnecessary sales language.

The forms were then shaped around the requirements of each service.

Commercial enquiries could provide details about their premises, required frequency and current arrangements, while construction, industrial, specialist and tender enquiries could submit information relevant to their site or project.

The complete website was reviewed across wide screen displays, standard desktop screens, tablets and mobile devices to create a consistent experience throughout.

Review and launch

Max reviewed the initial homepage direction and confirmed he was happy with the layout and design.

Following this feedback, the remaining pages, service journeys and enquiry forms were completed and refined.

The content, layouts, calls to action and responsive presentation were checked across the full website before launch.

The completed website was launched along with launch support. This included Google Business Profile content and a structured set of service names and descriptions aligned with the new website.

The finished result

EL Contract Services now has a clearer and more commercially focused online presence that reflects the scale and variety of the work it delivers.

Visitors can move directly into the service most relevant to their requirements, understand the company’s standards and submit an enquiry shaped around their premises or project.

This gives prospective clients a more useful first interaction while helping the EL Contract Services team receive better structured enquiry information.

The Tender and Commercial Contracts section gives the business a dedicated capability route that can be shared within proposals, supplier applications and procurement opportunities.

The completed website brings the company’s commercial cleaning services, operational experience and trust information together within one structured digital presence.

The result is designed to build confidence before the first conversation by presenting the company’s services, standards and commercial capability clearly.

Client feedback
“Tyler at Killed Pixel Studio has gone above and beyond to help us get our website back on track at E.L Contract Services Ltd this has been one of our sticking points for many years and has never really worked for us as it should. The whole project was an extremely smooth process and Tyler is an easy person to work with. The end product we have ended up with is far better than Emma and I could ever of hoped for. We are looking for to continuing to work with Tyler on the next project”
